- Security: encryption in transit, access controls, signed internal integrations, monitoring.

1. Introduction & Scope
Beesla ("we", "our", "us") provides a job publishing and discovery platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use Beesla Employers (the employer-side application). It does not replace separate notices you may see in the seeker application.

2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories when you use Beesla Employers:
- Account: name, email, authentication metadata, and security events.
- Organization: organization name, membership, roles, and permissions.
- Jobs: job titles, descriptions, client branding, location/work type, employment type, technology tags, and publication status.
- Operational: request logs, events, IP address, device/browser type, timestamps, and error traces.
- Integrations: data exchanged via HMAC‑signed internal endpoints with the seeker app (e.g., applications metadata), and optional email/analytics providers.
- Cookies & similar: cookies, localStorage, and similar identifiers. See our Cookie Policy.
We collect information directly from you (form inputs, uploads, settings) and automatically (product telemetry). Limited data may come from the seeker app or third‑party services you connect.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide core functionality (job creation, publication, management, and API exposure for seekers).
- Authenticate users, authorize roles, and secure organizations.
- Prevent abuse and fraud; detect and mitigate ghost or deceptive listings.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the application; analyze performance and usage.
- Communicate about critical changes, security issues, or support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Lawful Bases (where required)
- Contract: to provide requested services (account, organization, jobs, APIs).
- Legitimate interests: application security, abuse prevention, product improvement.
- Consent: optional features or communications where you choose to opt in.
- Legal obligations: to comply with applicable laws and requests.
5. Sharing
We don’t sell personal data. We may share the minimum necessary information with:
- Service providers (processors) for hosting, databases, email, analytics, and error tracking, under data‑processing terms.
- Seeker app, via internal HMAC‑signed endpoints, to support application workflows.
- Legal & safety when required by law or to protect rights, property, and safety.
- Business transfers as part of a merger, acquisition, or financing.
6. International Transfers
Data may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. Where required, we apply appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual measures) for cross‑border transfers.
7. Security & Retention
We protect data with appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method is perfectly secure. We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out above or as required by law.
